One reviewer shared on Facebook: “It was a nice surprise to find a place in the middle of nowhere, that tops any hotel or motel in price and service, with great attitudes. I would recommend this place to anyone passing through or staying awhile.”

Another reviewer said “Stayed here early in March 2018 for a week’s volunteer trip to the immigration detention center nearby and highly recommend Eagle Ford Village. Other members of our group ended up staying at (a chain hotel) next to the highway, just due to some scheduling issues on their end. We compared notes, and we all agreed that we probably got the best option. Eagle Ford is locally run, and the manager lives onsite. She was terrific and available for anything you need. I was very impressed with her response and checking with us to make sure everything was acceptable.”

Again, another review “I’m a hotel snob, have allergies and asthma, so cleanliness is important to me (I look for dusty or dirty surfaces when I arrive), and have stayed in five-star hotels around the world. Eagle Ford is not the Ritz Carlton or Four Seasons, nor are they meant to be. They are a small hotel complex comprised of mobile home units which are only about four years old. They offer apartment-style stays with well-appointed kitchens (not kitchenettes) with utensils, pans, and dishes – which is a significant plus because dining options are limited in Dilley. There are coffee makers, microwave, and washer dryer (in unit) as well…”

Two more reviews “The two-bedroom/two-bath unit we rented was clean and well-maintained. Towels were nice. All the furniture was in very good condition, although the sofa could probably use replacing sometime in the next year or so (I’m very picky).”

“If we return to Dilley, we will stay here. The complex is located on a quiet edge of town and felt very safe. Several highway troopers are staying/living in the complex, which made us feel even safer! We never heard any of our neighbors.”
